Ekonomia globale mund të rregullohet nga transformimi dixhital dhe teknologjia blockchain,” thotë HE Justin Sun, Ambasador për Grenadën në OBT.

H.E. Justin Sun, founder of TRON, joined the Grenada Government as its WTO Ambassador last December. He talked about some serious issues at the Twelfth Ministerial Conference (MC12) of the World Trade Organization (WTO). Sun spoke during the conference on SIDS (Small Island Developing States), climate change, oceans, e-commerce, and other issues.

The Conference has various topics such as post-COVID economic crisis, food safety, environment protection, food safety and security, IP protection on coronavirus vaccines, e-commerce moratorium on customs duties, and trade facilitation, according to the press release.

Në konferencë, ai gjithashtu deklaroi se "Grenada është shumë e varur nga një MTS (sistem tregtar shumëpalësh) shumë i parashikueshëm, transparent dhe efikas" dhe ai "po punon ngushtë me programin e OBT-së për tregtinë elektronike në mbështetje të dixhitalizimit të ekonomisë".

As per a video published by the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) on YouTube, Sun says, “Grenada is facing an increase in commodities prices, climate crisis, and environmental emergencies.” These can be fixed, or at least can have a recovery initiation, by simply empowering e-commerce and a borderless digital economy.

Sun nuk është një lojtar i ri në treg. Ai themeloi TRON në 2017, i cili tani është një nga tre zinxhirët kryesorë publikë në mbarë botën. Pra, sipas qeverisë së Grenadës, Sun do të përdorë përvojën e tij në teknologjinë blockchain për të dixhitalizuar proceset e saj të tregtisë, investimeve dhe qeverisjes.

Gjithashtu, Ministrat morën dy vendime kritike: Programin e Punës për Ekonomitë e Vogla dhe TRIPS për ankesat për mosshkelje dhe situatë; një Deklaratë Sanitare dhe Fitosanitare për Konferencën e Dymbëdhjetë Ministrore të OBT-së: Përgjigjja ndaj Sfidave Moderne SPS.

On the margins of MC12, the OECS also took the opportunity to have a series of engagements with essential partners, namely the International Trade Centre, the Commonwealth Secretariat, the Organisation of African Caribbean and Pacific States, and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. HE Justin Sun duket se po luan një rol kryesor në zhvillimin ekonomik të Grenadës. Gjatë mandatit të tij, Sun tha gjithashtu se do të avokonte në mënyrë aktive për bashkëpunimin midis Grenadës dhe vendeve të tjera në fusha të ndryshme dhe do të nxiste rritjen ekonomike përmes teknologjive dixhitale për të bashkëpunuar në çështjet e reja që dalin nga transformimi dixhital në epokën pas COVID.
